Cerro Monserrate

Situated 3200m above sea level this is a really interesting way to see the entire Bogotá. You get there by using the funicular, a little train that goes upwards in a 45 degrees incline. On the way there you already feel the altitude increasing in your ears, like when the airplane is taking off. The view is amazing and you can see a great amount of other mountains on the other side. This is like 5 minutes away from Bogotá.

Situado a 3200m acima do nível do mar este Cerro é uma maneira interessante de ver toda Bogotá. Você chega lá através do funicular, um trenzinho que vai lá pra cima em um ângulo de 45 graus. Já no caminho você sente a mudança na altitude nos ouvidos, como é quando o avião está levantando vôo. A vista é fantástica e você também pode ver um monte de montanhas do outro lado. Isto tudo fica a apenas 5 minutos de Bogotá.
