This is Dalai Lama's official residence, super simple. It's a monastery. In the picture we can see to the right some volunteers gathering funds for tibetan schools.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Esse predio branco eh a residencia do Dalai Lama. Super simples. Eh um monasterio. Na foto, podemos ver a galerinha a direita solicitando doacoes para as escolas dos tibetanos.
Some beggars on the streets, however not as much as other cities I've visited. They come with a little trick that i've read on lonely planet, saying they don't want money, they want milk for the baby. Then they take you to some store that sells milk with the price 5x overpriced.

Alguns pedintes nas ruas, mas nao tanto quanto nas outras cidades que eu fui. Eles vem com um truque que eu ja havia lido na internet. Dizem que nao querem dinheiro, e sim leite para o bebe. Ai apontam uma lojinha, que apenas por coincidencia vende leite 5x mais caro.
I've been to this another monastery. The monks walk around this thing as a form of praying.

Visitei esse monasterio. Os monges ficam andando ao redor desse negocio ai e girando ele como uma forma de oracao.
These are easier, you just spin them, no need to walk around :P
