Nothing like the touch of modern times. I had flown back in 2008 with LuftHansa to Frankfurt. Back then in flight entertainment was pretty much non existent. It was watching a little plane on a map or listening to some Lufthansa radio with songs nobody cares about.
Not this time though. It seems like TAM has upped the game. In flight entertainment is amazing. You can pick several options:
- Movies - and brand new relevant movies
- TV shows - many of the modern times tv series
- Songs - Some radios for several choices - Some CDs to listen to. I liked the Andrea Bocelli one.
- Games - I can't really highlight enough the fact that if it weren't for the games this trip would be so boringsome. I managed to sleep probably an hour at most during the 11 hour flight. Lots of time to play chess, poker, bejeweled and sudoku LOL
- Maps andf info - This was cool. You also had the traditional little plane on a map. But then there's the option camera, where you could actually watch the rise and landing from special cameras placed in the front part of the plane. Almost like the view of the pilot.
What about the food? Well on board food was also very good. Yes, I know I'm a freak for liking plane food LOL. What can I do. It's so good. The only different thought I had was that my sister would be in a world of trouble LOL. She likes only 3 or 4 foods and dislikes everything else.

Nada como as amenidades da vida moderna. Eu lembro que voei para Frankfurt em 2008 pela Lufthansa e entretenimento a bordo era inexistente. No máximo ver um aviãozinho voando num mapa tosco. E as opções de música era um monte de artistas que ninguém conhece.
Não desta vez. Parece que a TAM elevou o nível. Entretenimento a bordo está fantástico agora. Você pode selecionar várias opções:
- Movies - E vários filmes recentes e relevantes
- TV shows -Várias séries modernas
- Songs - Várias rádios para variados gostos musicais. E alguns CDs para ouvir. Eu gostei do CD do Andrea Bocelli.
- Games - não tem como eu destacar o suficiente o quanto este vôo teria sido terrível se não fosse pelos joguinhos. Eu consegui dormir 1 hora do total de 11 horas do vôo. É muito tempo pra jogar xadrez, bejeweled, poker, sudoku rsrsrsrs
- Maps andf info - Esse era legal. Além do aviãozinho no mapa tosco, tinha também a opção câmera, onde você pode acompanhar decolagem e aterrissagem da visão do piloto
E a comida? A comida a bordo estava muito boa. Sim, eu sei que sou um doido por gostar de comida de avião, mas era muito boa.
O único pensamento diferente que tive foi que se a minha irmã estivesse lá ela estaria em maus lençóis. Ela gosta de umas 3 comidas e não gosta de tudo o resto rsrs
