Italy public transport strikes / Greves na Itália

ENGLISH

It happened in Bologna on the last day. Bus stopped working just in time for us to arrive downtown. Literally thousands of people on the streets protesting. The government wants to deregulate transport services, the Italians did not like it.

And today it hit Florence. Most trains were canceled, delayed. Off course there was a big sign talking about it. I was too busy trying to figure out the gate for the train departing to Pisa. It took me like 20 minutes to find the sign after I realized the train had been cancelled.

So lots of people stuck in Florence walking around seeing everything one more time.
We took the time to check the statues near the Palazzo Vecchio. This time taking a very close look. There are so many details you can spend like 5 minutes on each statue marveling at them. It's impressive how the guy was able to translate human emotions so well using mostly stones.

Anyway, tomorrow we are going to see those smart Pisa guys. They have a tower that is an engineering disaster and yet they call it genious and sell tickets so you can see the tower LOL

E hoje chegou a Florença.
